Growing Feijoas in a pot
When planting your feijoa tree in a pot, choose a well drained pot art least 500mm. Choose a spot for your pot in partly shaded or sunny position, at least 6 hours of sun a day.

How to plant your feijoa seed?
Gently tease the roots and cut away any tangled roots. Fill pot us with your potting mix/ fertiliser, ensure seed at a depth two or three times their width. It's best the seed is two shallow then too deep.
Helpful tips:
- Feijoas will benefit from a good deep watering once or twice a week.
- Only the Unique variety is self-fertile. All other varieties need to cross-pollinate with at least one other variety which flowers/fruits at the same time to get fruit.
